Phenom desktop field emission SEM integrates resolution, stability and operability. It integrates high-brightness Schottky field emission filament into the desktop SEM, increasing the resolution of the desktop SEM to 1.5 nm.

Phenom uses low vacuum technology. The emitted electrons collide with air molecules to generate positive ions. The positive ions neutralize the electrons accumulated on the sample surface, effectively suppressing the generation of charging effects, and directly observing various non-conductive samples. By using the reduces the charge sample holder, the magnification of initial charging can be increased by about 8 times, meanwhile it doesn't affect the filament life.
