CeB6 filament

Phenom uses CeB6 filament with a work function of 2.5 eV. Its brightness is 10 times that of tungsten filament. The chromatic aberration of the emitted electrons is small, providing you with higher quality images. Its service life is up to 1500 hours, which is 10 times that of tungsten filament. It can be used normally for 2-3 years without replacing the filament, which saves you the trouble of frequently replacing the filament and ensures the progress of the work.

Phenom patented sample holder, low vacuum design, and patented vacuum blocking technology complete vacuuming within 15 seconds after loading the sample, and high-quality images can be obtained within 30 seconds, the usage time is only about 1/10 of the traditional SEM.

The Phenom desktop design has no special requirements for the surrounding environment. It can be placed on ordinary desks in high floors offices, factories, etc., without the need for shockproof facilities. It is the only truly shockproof electron microscope in the world.

Phenom sample loading method is derived from the design concept of coffee machines. It uses a patented sample holder to load samples. It is simple and fast. No special tools or adjustments are required. Load the sample holder, close the door, and it will be ready in a short time. An optical image is visible.

Phenom uses low vacuum technology. The emitted electrons collide with air molecules to generate positive ions. The positive ions neutralize the electrons accumulated on the sample surface, effectively suppressing the generation of charging effects, and directly observing various non-conductive samples. By using the reduces the charge sample holder, the magnification of initial charging can be increased by about 8 times, meanwhile it doesn't affect the filament life.
