The Phenom Pharos G2 Desktop FEG-SEM delivers an image quality unexpected from a tabletop tool. The resolution of 1.5 nm resolves details that other SEMs might miss. The Phenom Pharos G2 Desktop FEG-SEM also supports lower voltages, enabling imaging of beam-sensitive samples, such as polymers, as well as insulating samples, without the need to apply a coating. As a result, nanoscale surface features are not obscured.

Field emission SEM has distinct advantages. Its electron beam energy has small color difference, high beam density, resolution can reach angstrom (Å) , and filament life is as long as 10,000 hours. Phenom desktop field emission SEM integrates resolution, stability and operability. It integrates high-brightness Schottky field emission filament into the desktop SEM, increasing the resolution of the desktop SEM to 1.5 nm.

Phenom patented sample holder, low vacuum design, and patented vacuum blocking technology complete vacuuming within 15 seconds after loading the sample, and high-quality images can be obtained within 30 seconds, the usage time is only about 1/10 of the traditional SEM.

The Phenom desktop design has no special requirements for the surrounding environment. It can be placed on ordinary desks in high floors offices, factories, etc., without the need for shockproof facilities. It is the only truly shockproof electron microscope in the world.

Phenom sample loading method is derived from the design concept of coffee machines. It uses a patented sample holder to load samples. It is simple and fast. No special tools or adjustments are required. Load the sample holder, close the door, and it will be ready in a short time. An optical image is visible.

Phenom uses low vacuum technology. The emitted electrons collide with air molecules to generate positive ions. The positive ions neutralize the electrons accumulated on the sample surface, effectively suppressing the generation of charging effects, and directly observing various non-conductive samples. By using the reduces the charge sample holder, the magnification of initial charging can be increased by about 8 times, meanwhile it doesn't affect the filament life.
